Ed Sheeran: Is a stadium tour on the cards?

Ed Sheeran has been dominating the charts this week, and has now announced he will be playing Glastonbury in June.

His latest album ‘Divide’ has had a mind-blowing reaction all over the world, everyone seems to love what he’s thinking out loud. He has certainly made history as he has the fastest-selling album by a male artist ever created, and has gone double platinum. At Villiers, we have a  suspicion that Ed Sheeran will announce a stadium tour and if so where? Wembley Stadium? Eithad Stadium? Hampden Park? Maybe Croke Park? With all these options on the line, we are sure wherever he decides to perform, all concerts will be unmissable.

Of course, Ed Sheeran’s arena tour (28th March – 22nd June) sold out immediately, and for all those frustrated fans, we are confident that he will be back with a stadium tour, but this time bigger and even better. Ed Sheeran has been quoted saying he won’t play Wembley Stadium this year as he builds excitement and enthusiasm with the arena tour.

Having played at Glastonbury in 2011 and 2014, Ed Sheeran has announced he will join the headliners this year as he takes to the stage on the Sunday evening. Performing at Glastonbury is a dream of his and we are confident that he will be sure to deliver an incredible performance. He’s set to perform his latest hits including Shape of You and Castle on the Hill, to a large crowd of adoring fans.
